Bash Bug – Within a virtual environment, participants will walk through the steps that an attacker would use to exploit the bash bug vulnerability, using popular assessment tools including Burpsuite. Afterwards, participants will remediate vulnerabilities and verify that the attack is no longer possible.

Social Engineering Forensics – Participants will take on the role of a Cyber Investigator in a mock investigation. Participants will use forensics analysis tools, including Autopsy, to analyze and uncover artifacts from a multi-stage attack on an individual’s personal network.

Location:  UTSA Main Campus, John Peace Library Faculty Center Assembly Room (JPL 4.04.22)
