Date: Friday, May 11, 2018
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: OIT Learning Studio (BB 3.04.16)

CUDA is a parallel computing platform and application-programming interface (API) model created by NVIDIA. It allows software developers to use a CUDA-enabled graphics-processing unit (GPU) for general purpose processing. In this hands-on training course, we will introduce the basic programming skills about CUDA programing. The basic programming knowledge in C is required for this training. ** Attendees should request an account on Shamu. >> To request an account.

By the end of this training, participants will have the basic knowledge to write simple CUDA programs to run on the GPU-enabled cluster nodes on Shamu, the High Performance Computing cluster at UTSA.
