Please join us for our very first hands-on training course to learn basic scientific computing using Linux, scientific parallel programing and explore computing skills outside of your usual desktop computers using an HPC Cluster!

June 19, 2017, 10am-12pm || UTSA VizLab MS 1.03.06N

To register or view available upcoming training courses, visit https://mytraining.utsa.edu/flexapps/classroom/index.html

>> Click Search/Enroll/Withdraw from the top navigation bar.
>> Select the CT (Computer/Web) category from the drop-down menu.

**Students are welcome to register but DUE TO LIMITATIONS WITH THIS REGISTRATION SYSTEM students without a staff appointment are not able to register directly. However, your PI might be able to register you under his or her name. We will have this resolved for future training courses.**

If you want to be involved in the interactive, hands-on portion of the training, we suggest you create an account on our HPC cluster (Shamu) before the course begins. Visit http://hpcsupport.utsa.edu/foswiki/bin/view/Main/Faculty to request an account. We also recommend bringing a laptop with an SSH client installed on it.

(Additional training will also be available throughout the summer.)
