Vet2STEM Career and Technology Expo

The Vet2STEM Career and Technology Expo will introduce active military, and veterans to the career opportunities available at the National Labs. Representatives from the Department of Energy National Laboratory complex will talk about the mission of their labs and their role in national security. Veterans working in the National Lab will talk about their experiences and work culture.

National Labs include:

  • Idaho National Lab
  • Sandia National Labs
  • Oak Ridge National Lab
  • Pacific Northwest National Lab
  • National Renewable Energy Lab
  • Lawrence Berkley National Lab

This virtual event is free and open to ROTC cadets, active military, veterans that are currently pursuing or interested in pursuing a STEM degree at any level (Associates to PhD). See how you can put your degree to work.

Agenda (all times CST):

8:30am-8:40am  Welcome
8:40am-9:15am Fireside Chat- a panel discussion with veterans discussing their careers with the National Labs
9:15am-10:45am Town Hall Overview of each National Lab
10:45am- 11:00am Break
11:00am-12:00pm National Lab Breakout Rooms- deep dive into career opportunities at the National Lab (4 rotations of 15 minutes each)
12:00pm-12:30pm Networking and Recruiting Rooms
*9:15am-12:30pm  National Lab Recruiting Rooms open.  Sign up for 15 min one-on-one with recruiter.
