Grants & Contracts Financial Services (GCFS)
GCFS is responsible for the financial management of sponsored projects. Our function is to ensure all sponsored funds are accounted for, recorded, and reported accurately and timely. Our services range from, but are not limited to:
- Complete setups new project IDs in PeopleSoft and process award modifications
- Prepare and submit required financial reports to sponsors
- Prepare and submit invoices to sponsors
- Prepare Letter of Credit (LOC) draws
- Troubleshoot financial issues in partnership with Post-Award Administration
- Finalize project closeouts
- Facilitate in external and internal sponsor directed audits and desk reviews
