Effective this academic year, the Office of the Vice President for Research, Economic Development, and Knowledge Enterprise welcomes two new Associate Deans for Research.
• Michael J. Karcher, Ed.D., Ph.D., professor of educational psychology in the College of Education and Human Development.
• Sandra Morissette, Ph.D., professor of psychology in the College of Liberal & Fine Arts.
As part of their portfolio, they will focus on increasing external research funding, faculty publication and citation rates; guide development of new research teams and collaborations; assist faculty in research matters; foster student research; review and share research policies and procedures, coordinating with our office.
