The 2025 SURF conference will be held in conjunction with the Military Medical Industry Day (MMID) to continue the meeting concept, the AIM Health R&D Summit bringing together (A)cademia, (I)ndustry, and (M)ilitary researchers. The Summit will be hosted on June 16-17, 2025, at The Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center in downtown San Antonio, TX.

The AIM Health R&D Summit brings together academia, industry, and the military to promote cross-sector collaboration in the development of life-saving innovations. Designed to advance emerging technologies from the bench to the battlefield, AIM draws top minds from across the life sciences ecosystem in a collaborative forum where groundbreaking ideas are shared, partnerships are forged, and solutions to some of healthcare’s toughest challenges are discovered. By uniting experts from diverse disciplines, the AIM Health R&D Summit accelerates the translation of research into impactful technologies that improve health outcomes and enhance mission readiness.
