Important Dates and Deadlines
Studies or research that involves more than minimal risk must be reviewed by the IRB at a monthly convened meeting. To ensure timely review, submit your application at least six weeks before the scheduled meeting date.

To be placed on an IRB meeting agenda for a meeting date on the right below, submissions must be pre-reviewed by the IRB Office and deemed complete, and ready for IRB members prior to 3:30 pm on the “Ready for Board” date below,
IRB Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month unless otherwise noted.

There is no deadline for New Submissions or Modifications involving activities that present no more than minimal risk.
Submit your new protocols through Cayuse IRB.
All protocols submitted before Sept.15, 2020 will be maintained using existing forms. If you have questions, contact the Senior Research Compliance Coordinator at irb@utsa.edu.
