Introduction to Python, Part 2: Techincal Introduction to Python

This workshop is a basic technical introduction to Python aimed at non-technical audiences with no prior knowledge of programming. Attendees will be assisted in installing Python on their computers, as well as downloading and installing popular tools for Python programming such as Anaconda Navigator, Jupyter Notebooks, and PyCharm IDE. We will then go through an example of identifying useful Python code, how to run it, and how to inspect and save the code output. This is not an introduction to programming, instead the workshop will emphasize processes and environments, as well as how to leverage popular AI tools to help understand code samples.
